
Brent Fidler
BIOGRAPHYBrent Fidler is an award-winning actor, screenwriter, novelist, director, and producer whose career spans more than forty American television series and feature films.
He earned a Leo Award for Best Actor for his performance in First Wave and received a Gemini Award nomination for directing. His portrayal of Edgar Allan Poe in Poe: Last Days of the Raven helped the film earn Best Feature honors at the Cinema City International Film Festival at Universal Studios in Los Angeles.
As a writer, Brent is the author of Shadows of Nagasaki, Crack'd, and The Goddess Waltz. His screenplays have been optioned by New Line Cinema and producer Doug Claybourne, and he has written two professionally produced stage plays: Poe – The Highly Unusual Life of Edgar A. Poe and Raising the Conch – The Way of the Kundalini Goddess.
Career highlights include working alongside Al Pacino and Frances McDormand and developing projects that combine strong storytelling with literary depth.
Brent is President of Theater Crossing Film Corp., a production company dedicated to creating feature films with a strong literary, moral, and ethical foundation. A dual citizen of Canada and the United States, he divides his time between Vancouver and Los Angeles.
